Christmas Morning (A few days early)

Since our family was going to be in Marshall on Christmas Day, we celebrated a few days early.  Camden seemed to really enjoy his new presents and we loved seeing his excitement.  We are so blessed!  I love my little family.
The night before Christmas prep!
As soon as Camden saw his new table, he sat down and asked Daddy to come pray with him.  Precious moment!  This little guy loves to pray~we average 4-5 prayers a meal.
Copper getting into the present action!
He got super excited when he saw Mickey in his stocking.
Working a new puzzle~including a school bus piece, which he thinks is super cool!
A new shopping cart and food from Grampa & Mimi.  Cam was very excited about this!
Trying out his new car ramp from Grandma and Grandpa Schulte.  He loves it!
Reading one his new books with Mama...love these calm, still moments.

We had a very Merry Christmas!

Matkin Family Christmas

Keeping with our annual tradition, we headed to Tyler the Saturday before Christmas weekend to celebrate at Grandmothers with the Matkin clan.  As always, we enjoyed catching up with everyone and Camden especially enjoyed playing with all the cousins.  It was a great way to kick off the Christmas season!
Just a glimpse of the craziness that hits during present time!
Sweet Abby and Caroline...such cuties!
The most popular toy at Grandmother's...it rarely has an empty seat!
A typical shot of Toby...he doubles as a jungle gym for the kids.
Hugs from Mary Grace & Garrett!

Ho Ho Ho!

Christmas 2011 (after 7 crying shots, we finally got a smile!)

Lincoln Children's Museum

Aunt Kristin to the rescue...she shared some photos of the cousins at the Lincoln Children's Museum over Thanksgiving.  Camden really enjoyed all the different areas to play and of course liked his time with his cousins.  Thanks for the pictures and for such a fun outing, Aunt K!  We would LOVE to again with you guys!
Aunt Marla & the cousins pose for a picture...well kind of!
This was Camden's favorite area...a mini Memorial stadium!  He kicked footballs for minutes on end. :)
Not sure where this expression came from....showed up in several pics!
Just doing a little grocery shopping!
Cooking pizza with Joshua and Susannah!

A Weekend with Nana & Papa

Nana & Papa were sweet enough to keep Camden this past weekend while Toby & I traveled to Austin for a basketball tournament.  Cam had an absolute blast with them and has asked to call Nana and Papa everyday since they left!  Thanks to Nana & Papa for taking such good care of our little guy.  Here is a look at some of their fun!
All bundled up to play outside for a bit...it was COLD!
LOVE this...cuddling with Nana before bedtime.
This is basically Camden's uniform these days....we play football for hours on end and he ALWAYS has to wear his Nebraska hat while he plays!
They took him to play at the mall!
Looks like he caught a concert while he was there.
Camden loves his Papa!

Thanksgiving in a Very Few Pics

I did a HORRIBLE job of taking pictures over Thanksgiving! We had such a great time with Toby's family in Nebraska and wish I have more pics to prove it. Camden got to spend lots of quality time with Uncle T.J. (his new favorite person) & Aunt Marla, Uncle Matthew & Aunt Kristin, Joshua, Susannah & Micah, and of course, Mimi & Grampa. We went up a few days early and spent time in Lincoln with the cousins. Aunt Kristin took us to a really cool children's museum, which Cam loved! We celebrated Thanksgiving with lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins and also got to see the Huskers win. We have so much to be thankful for!
Getting settled at the kids table...The great-grandkids...poor Susannah is the only girl!Lots of fun with cousin Joshua
Mama and Aunt Kristin at the Huskers game!

Finally...Family Pics

A year and a half after Camden was born, we finally have our first family pictures! Here are some of my favorites...

Pretty decent considering our little guy was not in the mood to cooperate that day! Oh the joys of a strong-willed boy...wouldn't trade him for anything.

Music Class

Camden and I love our music class we take on Tuesdays! It is so fun to watch Camden sing, dance, and play instruments. It has also been a great first step to him learning to follow directions in a group setting and listen to a teacher. We plan on signing up again next semester for more fun! Daddy joined us for our last class so we were able to get a few pics and videos of Camden enjoying himself. :)

Yes, my son is always right in the middle of the action...he is certainly not shy! This is one area in which he has improved dramatically, he sits relatively still on the blanket during story time each week. The parachute is his absolute FAVORITE...he loves running underneath it and squealing!

While Mama's Away...

Camden will play! Grampa and Mimi came to entertain Cam while Mama went on our annual Girls Weekend with her Baylor friends. As always, he had a great time with them! Thanks for making the trip, Grampa and Mimi, and thanks to Daddy for always wanting Mama to have fun with her friends!

Looks like Camden had fun!
Feeding the ducks with Mimi. Game Day gear with Grampa...Go Big Red!
Cheering on cousin Brooke at her volleyball game.

And here are a couple of pic's of Mama and her gals! What a fun trip! So thankful for my sweet friends and fun get aways!

We went to Charlotte, NC this year to see where Lauren lives. It was so beautiful this time of year!

Trick or Treat?

Camden, appropriately dressed as a monkey, really enjoyed his first real trick or treating experience. At the beginning, he was hesitant to knock on doors and was more concerned about the kids dressed as football players than the candy. But he quickly learned the value of Reese's and Butterfingers which happen to be Mama and Dada's favorites!

Cam enjoyed putting candy into his pumpkin. "Smiling" with Mama

Apparently monkeys like to climb fire hydrants.

Dada teaching him the art of trick or treating!

Lollipops are his favorite! (Maybe because that is the only candy he was allowed to eat...)
Monkey see, Monkey do.

Happy Halloween!
