Week One Recap

Wow...Camden turned one week old yesterday! It seems like forever and just a moment all at the same time. I can't believe how many changes I can already see in him in just 7 days. He is already loosing his "newborn" look. I can't believe how much we already love him!!!

We are doing well and all working on figuring out life with a newborn. :) I feel so blessed to have such a hands on husband/dad that is willing to do whatever he can to make life easier on me and our sweet little boy. It will be really hard to have him go back to work next week, but has been such a blessing to have so much time together at home. I also have my mom coming in next week to help me out. Thank goodness for such great support!

We have kept busy with lots of firsts this week...first time home, first look at his room with him n there, first walk, first bath, first trip to the doctor, first trip to BRU, and the list goes on. Here are a few pictures showing the highlights from the week.

What will he look like???

I think Toby and I have talked about this hundreds of time. The suspense of carrying a baby for 40 weeks and not knowing what his sweet face will look like. We thought it would be fun to look at newborn pictures of each of us to see what he could look like. To most people's surprise, I was born with super dark hair which was snow white by the time I was one! People are also surprised to know that Toby wasn't super small even though he was a twin. We aren't sure what his hair (if he has hair), his eyes, or other features will be, but we are pretty sure that he will be a BIG baby! The doctor has made this prediction and we have a strong family trend on both sides of bigger babies. We can't wait to see Camden!!!

Camden's Nursery Reveal!

We put the finishing touches on Camden's room this weekend with Toby hanging the adorable surfboard my friends had made above the crib! We are pleased with how everything turned out and can't wait to add our little boy to the room...he is the only thing missing now. :) Enjoy the pics of the room, the colors look a little off but you will get the idea.
