Halle's 3rd Birthday Party

Halle loved celebrating her 3rd birthday at the splash pad with friends complete with a Minnie Mouse theme!

Halle's Quilt

Our sweet Nana pours her time and love into making quilts for each grandchild.  They have all turned out so beautiful and I know our kids will cherish them for years to come!  Nana gave Halle her quilt as part of her birthday gift and Halle was THRILLED! I can't figure out why some of the pictures went sideways! 

Anniversary Staycation

Nana and Papa kept the kids so Mama and Daddy could celebrate 12 years of marriage with a staycation in Dallas!

We started the trip off with trying Pecan Lodge in Deep Ellum!  It was so good and had been on Toby's list of places to try for a while. 

Next, we headed to our hotel rooftop pool for the afternoon.  Check out the amazing view!

That night we went to Trinity Groves for dinner and to walk the bridge.  Such a fun night!

The next morning we slept in late and then headed to the Bishop Arts District for lunch.  This time it was my choice and the Dallas Grilled Cheese Company did not disappoint!

Paddleboarding and kayaking at White Rock Lake was a hit!

Clearly Toby was getting a little tired of my "capture the moment" mantra!  We went to dinner and a movie that night.

Our last morning we slept in a bit and then did some serious mountain biking!  It was so fun to get to do this together since we rarely get to with kids now.

A BIG thanks to Nana and Papa for giving us this time!  Looks like the kids weren't bored either....

Stitches

Guess I should be thankful for we made it 5 years before our first stitches with our active guy!

Our family had a great time at Hawaiian Falls!  We stayed from opening to close.
