Nana and Papa came to visit this past week and as usual, we really enjoyed our time together!

Camden's Special Quilt
Our sweet Nana hand sews quilts for all of her grandkids and Camden got his on his birthday! We love it...she spent so much time and energy on this keepsake and we know that Camden will treasure this for years to come. She even stitched different sports balls around the border just to cater to Cam's interests. Thank you for this special gift, Nana!

Lots of time spent at the park with sweet Halle swinging and big boy throwing some rocks!
Halle girl is getting SO big!

More park playtime!
Halle displaying her normal expression (smiles) and her new funny face!
Mama's Helper
"Mama, can I put the dishes away?"
Music to my ears!
*Hope he still feels this way in ten years! :)
Mother's Day
What a blessing to be called "Mama" and I'm eternally thankful for my three precious kids!
As usual, my sweet hubby went above and beyond to celebrate me! He took kid duty all day, gave me gifts, and we ate yummy food. It was a fabulous day!

The "Fish" Doctor
Camden identifies doctor's offices by the entertainment they have there. We have the book doctor, Panda doctor, train doctor, video game doctor, and his favorite, the fish doctor! He never complains about going because he LOVES looking at the fish.
Learning Fun
"Choo chooing" the letter train!
Practicing symmetry with our felt butterfly.
This kids loves to "fish"! We were fishing for our numbers on Sunday.
By his special request, the "Sound Parking Lot" made a return.
Lifegroup Park Night
We're so thankful to be involved in a lifegroup through our church that we love! As cheesy as it sounds, it is such a blessing to share life with this group. Nothing was particular special about this night, but its nights like this that I am reminded of how grateful we are! The weather was nice (minus some crazy wind) so we played and picnicked at the park together. The kids played a game of Simon Says and then listened to a short lesson on obedience.

The "After" Party
We can't let a visit from my family get away without some Mexican food, so we headed to Matt's for dinner after Camden's party!
Camden's 3rd Birthday PARTY!
This year we decided to have Camden's first friends birthday party and he had a blast! We went with a space them since we chose to have it at a local rocket park. He was excited to have school friends, lifegroup friends, and family all there! It was so fun to see him really get into the birthday fun this year!
Such a cool park!
My sweet sister and niece were my set up crew! Totally couldn't have done it without them. This is how they had to ride to the park!
I got this cool idea from my sister-in-law, Galactic trail mix! I forgot to get a pic of the Rocket Fuel table too.
Camden was SO excited!!!
When guests first arrived the kids all played for a while! Then we did cupcakes! Sweet boy was really excited to blow out his candle! (The wind may have helped a little....)
He has no problem being the center of attention...
Sweet friends singing "Happy Birthday"!
Digging in!
After cupcakes, we played some simple games! We divided into boys and girls and did a station rotation. My sweet sister manned the "Pin the Rocket on the Planet" station and Toby and I worked the space lab.
At the space lab, the kids got to dig in dirt to find a moon rock. They then took it to the moon water and the rock dissolved to reveal a special prize inside!
Our last game was a planet hunt! All the kids got little rocket bags and searched for enough planets to fill up their bags. The planets (Easter eggs) were filled with their favors.
Next was gift time! This was the first year he seemed more interested in the presents than the paper:)
Here are some Halle shots from the day! Sweet girl wasn't her normal happy self due to a bizarre schedule she had to keep! We were very thankful for lots of arms to hold her. A HUGE thanks to Nana and Papa for being on duty the whole party!
Thank you to all of our friends and family for making Camden's big day so special!
