Adult Fun
As much as we love our kiddos, it is nice to have some adult time every now and then. For NYE we went to dinner with friends and then back to our place for dessert, games and to ring in 2013. Forgot to take many pics, but here are the gals from the night.
A few nights later I celebrated Christmas (just a little late) with my Baylor girls. So thankful for them and for the cute jewelry I got in the gift exchange!
Lincoln Childrens Museum
These are their "serious" faces!
Cam's favorite exhibits were the things he could drive...here he is in the big rig.
Loving the water play area.
Fireman Camden to the rescue!
What trip to Nebraska would be complete without driving a tractor?!
Picking apples
And of course we LOVED the Husker football area!
One of our favorite stops while in Nebraska has come to be the Lincoln Childrens Museum! When Aunt K told us there were new exhibits, we knew we had to go. Cam and I enjoyed spending the day with the older cousins and Aunt K exploring!

Nebraska Snow and Other Fun!
Although we missed a white Christmas here in Dallas, we were greeted with TONS of snow in Nebraska. It was really pretty and perfect for our little man to play in. He loved snow angels, sledding, and of course, Mimi's snow ice cream! The kids were going a little stir crazy one day, so Mimi took us to a bounce house play place. Cam had a blast with the cousins!
A Schulte Christmas
The best cousin shot we got :)
Present chaos
Cam's favorite playmate, Uncle T.J.
Halle opening presents with Mimi
Cousin Micah enjoying his gifts!
Love the way that we celebrate Jesus' birthday!
The girl cousins adore each other!
Lots of games played
Halle was never short on attention.
Mimi reading her favorite book to the grandkids.
Aunt Kristin planned some really fun Christmas crafts for the kids!
Road Trip
As much as we were looking forward to heading to Nebraska to see the fam, we were not so excited about our road trip. The trip is about 10 hours with no kids and only 1 stop; we are no where near that anymore. On the way up, we stayed with some family friends in Wichita, but on the way back we drove it all in one stretch. I was AMAZED at how great the kids did.
This popcorn was long lasting entertainment...and our little guy always made sure we had music to listen to, complete with funny voices!
Sophie the Giraffe entertained Halle!
Lots of pretty views on the drive.
Storytime by Mrs. Dottie on the way there!
