Stronger

Sometimes I get worried that Halle is still behind in her gross motor skills and then I'm reminded of where she was just 6 months ago: she couldn't turn her head at all.  God is continuing to remind me that He is in control and has a great plan for my little girl!  She is working hard in PT weekly and is getting much stronger and willing to practice the crawling position.  Just one more area that I'm reminded to let go of...

Storytime

Not another picture...

They've perfected the synchronized "no more pictures" look already!

Long Hair!

The exclamation point is needed....this Mama is happy!  Halle's hair is starting to get long enough for bows without headbands and to accomplish the windswept look after running.

Bathtime!

Think it is safe to say that they enjoyed their first joint bath!

So much splashing so many laughs!

Celebrating Easter

We had a great time this year celebrating Easter!  Although we spent lots of time hunting Easter eggs, I am so happy that Camden knows the true meaning of Easter...Jesus is ALIVE!
On Easter Sunday, we enjoyed a wonderful church service, yummy food and fun family time!

The Thursday before Easter, Camden had an egg hunt and Easter party at school.  Halle and I were happy to join in the fun!

Yesterday, we celebrated with our lifegroup friends!  We gathered for a story, egg hunt, and playtime!

And a little Easter craft action!

Everyday Life

We've been spending lots of time exploring with playdough!  It is fun to see how much more he can do with it as he gets older.

He was THRILLED over this truck book I got him.  It is like a mini encyclopedia about trucks and we read it at least seven times through in the first day!
This cutie always wakes up HAPPY and ready to PLAY!  The blur in the background is big bro being silly...he loves to get in her crib when we get her up.

Camden is getting really good at sharing with his sister.  In this picture he was lining up all his trucks for her to choose which ones to chew on, I mean play with:)
This girl can't get enough of bathtime!
8 Months Old
This silly boy makes it tough to get a normal picture these days.
First pancakes...she oinked them!
Sweet girl sleeping buns up...love it!
I tried to sneak in some learning on this day and made "The Sound Parking Lot."  He chose a car, I made the sound and he found the correct parking spot.  This was a hit!

We sure enjoyed the GORGEOUS weather yesterday!  We went down to the pond to throw rocks and relax!
