Nichols Family Camp Out

The Nichols Clan all headed to Lake Bob Sandlin State Park for the weekend for our annual camp out.  This year, Toby and I stayed in the tent with the older kids while Kara, Nana and Papa slept inside with Halle.  The tent worked out really well minus the insane thunderstorm that rolled through Sunday morning leaving everything and everyone drenched!

 

We had a great time riding bikes, swimming, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and just being together!  Camden has talked non-stop about the trip ever since.   Sadly I neglected to take many pictures, but here are a few.

Much to our surprise this kid slept until 8:45 the first morning!  It may have had something to do with him being up over two hours past his normal bedtime...

Happy 90th Birthday, Grandmother!

This past weekend we got to celebrate Grandmother's 90th birthday!  It was such a special day to see so many friends and family gather to honor such an incredible lady.  We love you, Grandmother!

Both kids really had a great time although this picture shows otherwise!

Summer Nights

The weather's getting warmer so we had a fun family night in the backyard Friday!  Daddy picked up a pizza and we ate in our swimsuits.  Looking forward to more nights like this one!

Water Playdate

We didn't let the cloudy, rainy and windy weather ruin our plans for a water playdate!  Next time Mama may need to check the weather forecast closer...

We still had a great time!  All 8 mamas and 17 kiddos...bring on the chaos!
