Klyde Warren Park

Last week Lisa and I decided to take the kids on an urban adventure! We took the DART downtown and played at Kylde Warren Park, a cool park built on top of a tunnel in downtown Dallas. We had a blast riding the train, playing in water and eating a food truck lunch. Such a fun experience!

The bigs!
The mamas and the littles!
Camden kissed Layla at "Lovers Lane."
They did great walking from the train stop to the park.
Lots of fun playtime!

Buying our lunch from the food truck was a new experience! We had crepes and snowcones!

Liam and Halle loved pushing empty strollers. And each other!

Yummy snowcones! Halle kept mooching Miss Lisa's!

Our tired crew waiting for the train home!

A Sleeping Baby

Rub a Dub Dub

I knew things were a little too quiet...last night I found this sweet girl washing her baby with hand sanitizer!

Country Fun in the City

Camden's First School Performance

Camden had his first school performance last week and he was so excited! Mama, Daddy, Auntie Ashlee and Halle were all there to cheer him on!
He's in the blue shirt and kakhi pants front and center!

After his performance he immediately asked to see Auntie Ashlee!
Halle loved watching all the kids sing!

After the performance we got to visit Camden's classroom for Open House.
This is some of Cam's artwork from the year!

We ADORE Camden's teacher Miss Dianne!!!

We were so proud of the great job our little man did!

My Two Scientists

This picture totally captures Camden's inquisitive nature and Daddy's willingness to answer all science questions. Here Daddy's explaining "how rolly poleys get each other's attention." So thankful for a Daddy who can answer all these scientific questions because we know Mama can't!

Sweet Sibling Love

Camden has always loved his sister: wanting to give her frequent hugs, kisses and lots of affection. Up until now his attempts have usually been met with squawks, pushes and cries. In the past few weeks, his hugs have been returned and she willingly kisses him before bedtime. I love seeing their relationship grow. Although she doesn't always show it, I can tell just how much she adores her big bro!
