We had a special day celebrating the life and legacy of our sweet Beckett. Even though his little eyes never saw this world, our eyes saw him and we are forever changed. Although the day brought some tears, it also brought joy and hope as we dream about the day that our family is all together.
Our family started a ministry called "Books for Beckett" this year: we invited family and friends to make donations to provide copies of Safe in the Arms of God in bereavement boxes that hospitals provide to families when they have pregnancy or infant loss. It was such a joy to see so many others passionate about helping others heal during difficult times and to see the legacy of precious son has. It is our prayer that the families who receive these books feel love, hear the truth and ultimately, see and know Christ.
We were thankful the local hospitals welcomed these donations and are partnering with us in this ministry. It was a very special moment delivering the books as a family to the hospitals.
Next, we headed to a Mexican food dinner! Halle got her first kids meal in honor of the special day. (It was kids eat free night!)
After dinner we headed to "Beckett's park" to dream and send off balloons; a beautiful time as a family.
To my precious Beckett Lincoln, we miss you more than words can describe. It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years. We are thankful for your life and legacy and cannot wait until we can hold you again. We love you.
