We spent the first two weeks of July in Nebraska celebrating the Fourth of July, visiting family and sharing in Cousin Nathan and Lindsay's wedding! Lots of fun was had and memories made...always love our time in Nebraska!
Although we were thankful for synchronized nappers, my kids NEVER nap longer than 45 minutes in the car! We did think it was pretty funny that Halle napped holding the flag...so patriotic.
Burning energy at one of our stops! I have to brag on our great travelers, we only stop twice on the 11 hour trip. They are amazing!
What wasn't amazing was little miss deciding to not fall asleep at bedtime and staying awake until we made it to NE at 12:30 AM. Crazy girl! Thankfully she wasn't fussy, just sang a lot and giggled a lot.
We hit the lake for Fourth of July! We all had a super time with extended family.
Grampa and his girls at Sunday lunch!
I sure loved spending time with these two cuties! Being an Aunt is awesome!
Halle girl was a big fan of climbing the stairs!
Uncle Toby & Owen being silly!
Great Grandma and Grandpa Schulte also were there visiting for a few days. We had a blast playing with them as always!
Camden playing pretend baseball with Grampa and Great Grandpa on a field where Daddy played as boy!
We tried to take advantage of cooler temps and play at the park!
Cousins table at lunch!
On Wednesday, we went back out to the lake and both of our kids LOVED tubing! We even took a whole family ride..so fun!
Not many pictures to show it, but this crew was exhausted from our fun day at the water park!
Sibling dance time...so sweet!
I had a solo lunch one day! It was glorious!
Camden, Daddy and Uncle T.J. hit the golf course!
Double date night to dinner and putt putt!
Matching cousins!
The Schulte Cousins Summer 2014
It was a beautiful wedding, but rain hit half way through! The bride and groom stuck it out and got hitched under umbrellas!
Aunt Kristin hosted a movie showing in her minivan in between pictures and the ceremony, complete with popcorn. It was a big hit!
Halle might already be boy crazy...we're a little worried. She was pretty clingy our whole visit until she met these brothers at the wedding. She then proceeded to follow them around all night with no concern for Mama. It was hilarious!
The long trip home!
So thankful for this family! I married into a great one!
