This year I wanted to find a way to take the focus off getting and focus more on giving so we did daily Random Acts of Christmas Kindness (RACK). I loved seeing the kids get excited about serving others! This is something I hope to continue annually.
Brought treats to the local fire station!
Hot cocoa to carpool workers at school!
Donated some of our books to a book drive.
Wrote neighbors Christmas messages with sidewalk chalk.
Watched a friends kids to give her some free time!
Held the door and greeted shoppers! Thanks to Nana and Mary Grace for doing this one!
Made Christmas cards for a missionary.
Picked up trash in the neighborhood-the flashlights and gloves made this one extra fun!
Left goodies for the trash man!
Taped popcorn to the Redbox machine for movie lovers!
Donated dog food to the local animal shelter-Camden insisted on carrying it!
Bought donuts for the next patrons one Saturday. As we sat there we got to hear people exclaim over this and then continue the kindness chain!
We left candy canes on all the cars on our street!
Tipped our carhop a big tip at Sonic!
Left change on a vending machine!
Balloons on a friends door!
