My sweet Camden turned 10 months on February 21st! So crazy to think that in two short months (less than that since this post is quite late), he will be 1! If you can’t tell by the picture (this was the best of the 20ish I took) our little guys is ACTIVE! Here is what’s going on with Cam these days…
• No well visit this month although we took Camden in for being sick a few days after his 10 month birthday. He weighs 23 pounds, 6 ounces! People are often surprised he weighs that much, guess he hides his weight well! No ideas on height, but I can tell he is still getting taller.
• Camden is in all 12-18 pants and a mix of 12-18 & 12 month tops. We’ve had to move up to 18 month sleepers to accommodate those long legs! Cam wears size 4 in diapers.
• Camden drinks four bottles a day, but we will be moving to three this month as we try to encourage the sippy cup more. He usually drinks 7-8 ounces at each of his feedings. Solids are still somewhat of a struggle for Camden. He LOVES crackers, multi-grain cheerios, and pretzels, but all other foods are hit or miss. Feeding times can be a bit frustrating for both of us! For breakfast, Camden eats oatmeal and fruit, lunch is yogurt, veggie, and fruit, and dinner is a toss up! Usually it consists of veggie, oatmeal, a little of whatever we’re eating, meat, and cheese.
• Oh how I adore my amazing sleeper! He goes down about 8:00 and sleeps until 7:30-8:00 in the morning. He takes two daytime naps around 10:15-10:30 and 3:00; each is between 1 ½ to 2 hours. We still use a sound machine when he sleeps!
• Camden mastered standing alone this month…so fun! He has been working hard on getting to standing without help or the couch, should be soon. He has also started taking steps. His confidence is a little shaky, but he does great when 2 people are with him!
• Camden has two top and two bottom teeth…he doesn’t look like a baby anymore!
• Other notable things: he loves to knock down blocks and can stack three high, he can say “Mama” and “Dada” (when he wants too, not on command), he opens and closes doors all the time, he loves to shake his head, he plays a copycat game with us with funny noises
Happy 10 months to our sweet boy…we love you very much!
