I blinked and...

all of this happened!  Here's the end of our April and beginning of May!
Camden and his buddies are quite obsessed with video games these days!

Both the kiddos had fun celebrating Luke's b-day at Kids Mania.

We enjoyed a belated Easter egg hunt with our lifegroup friends!

Just because flowers are the best!
My sweet cousin, Natalie and her precious girls sent Halle a matching gown set for her doll.  She loves matching Molly!  And they remembered big brother too and got his favorite, Star Wars!  So sweet of them!

While Mama and Daddy went to a dinner at church the kids had a blast SWIMMING, watching movies and playing games with some of their sweet friends.

Both kids loved Noah's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle birthday party!  Halle and Noah have such a sweet friendship even for being 2.5 years apart.  She absolutely adores him!

I'm relishing these country views on my runs for now; they've started to develop part of this beautiful farm.

Our sand playdate with Liam turned into a mud playdate!

Loved playing games with this guy while we waited for the doctor at his 5 year well check.

Camden's last unit at school was over artists!
One of Camden's best buddies, Grady, brought him to his Tae Kwon Do class on buddy day.  He loved it!

Running into your buddies at the library is always a treat.

This girl has discovered she can help herself to snacks in the pantry much to Mama's dismay.  If I leave the room for a minute I come back to Halle with mangoes, craisins or nuts in hand!

My heart melted when I caught this moment after school one day.  Such sweet friends!

When Daddy works late, we go for Bahama Bucks in our pajamas!

I enjoyed a fun night out with these sweet friends!  And we realized what the picture would look like if Halie and I didn't bend down.  Hilarious!

These two decided they wanted light up light sabers like their friends and so we had to raid the piggy banks and count up our change to see if they had enough.  And they did!

I enjoyed Muffins with Moms with my precious boy!

Halle is a great sport about playing boy toys with her brother most of the time, so she usually chooses girly things while he's gone!

Rainy day after school Braum's surprise!

Cam's school class....such a fabulous group of kiddos!  So sad we'll all be at different schools next year!

Heading out on an adventure in between storms!

These two were overjoyed when they got a free teddy bear out of the claw game while grocery shopping!
Papa got Cam his own mini Royals bat from the Lousville Slugger factory.

When the sun came out we went running to the fountains with friends!  Not much sunshine happening these days.
Mama enjoyed a fun weekend away with her lifegroup girls!

More artwork!
This girl LOVES to craft!

Camden was promised a box of Fruit Loops when he rode his bike all the way to the park!  Here he is proudly posing after his first park ride.  Since then he's become quite the expert!  He refers to his bike as a speeder bike now!
This girl cracks me up.  She found a notepad and came over to me and said "Can I take your order?"  Cutest waitress I've seen!
Fun day playing in the sunshine!

His Promises

Such a beautiful reminder of the Lord's promises to us!

My Little Loves

Can I freeze time and keep them this little forever?!?!

5 Years Old

Somehow I blinked and now have a FIVE year old!  I can’t believe it!  Here is a look at Camden at age 5!
• One day we think your growth may slow down, but not yet!  At your well visit, you were 49 inches (100%) and 53 pounds (97%).  Overall you got a great bill of health and the doctor even inspired you to eat more veggies! You consistently get confused for a 1st grader!
• Since you're so tall, you wear big clothes! Cam wears mostly size 7 clothes and size 1 shoes.
•Camden sleeps from 8:00pm to 7:15-7:45am every day!  You come out and go to the bathroom each morning and then go back in your room to play until 8:00 am.  You have a clock that lights up when you can come out!  Occasionally (maybe 1-2 times a week) you take a 45 minute nap during rest time.  You sleep with your Nebraska blanket, a water cup and a zoo of stuffed animals! You’ve switched from a sound machine to the radio when you go to sleep at night.
• In July of last year at lunch one day, you asked Jesus into your heart!  We are so proud of you for this decision and feel that even at such a young age you get it. It is challenging and encouraging to see you growing and seeking answers in your new found faith.
• Camden has Mama's eyes, hair and skin color with Daddy's features.  You seriously look just like Daddy when he was a boy just with blonder hair!
 • It is hard to keep up with your social calendar!  You LOVE your friends and think I should have a playdate planned daily.  You make friends wherever you go and walk up to kids and introduce yourself.  You’re sad to leave your preschool friends, but I have no doubt you’ll make kinder friends in no time!
 • Camden is quite the chatterbox!  You talk nonstop!  You are SO inquisitive and constantly ask us questions. Now that Halle is super chatty too, I often feel like I have two different radio stations on at the same time!
•Cam started playing soccer this fall and LOVES it!  He counts down the days to his weekly practices and then again to his games.  We love seeing you work hard, have fun and focus.  Three of his best school buddies are on his team too which makes it extra fun.
• You love to keep your days busy!  You love preschool 2 days a week and have really built some great friendships at school. On non-school days we go on lots of adventures, but you hate when I say it’s an errand day.
•Your overall behavior is pretty good, but we frequently have to address whininess.  Time outs usually deter you.
• Camden is a little sponge and loves learning!  I'm a very proud Mama, but I can't believe all the things you know.  This year you've greatly improved handwriting, can count by ones, fives, tens and hundreds, and have started basic reading!  You also learned how to ride your bike with no training wheels and now refer to yourself as a “speeder bike rider.”  You even told me I should enter you in a bike race!
• Some of your favorite things right now are: Star Wars, science experiments, sports, Rescue Bots, playing games, music, helping Daddy "fix" things, playing on the iPad, reading books, and pretending.
• You are a FABULOUS big brother!  Halle absolutely ADORES you!  You help with her a lot and love to give her lots of hugs.

We are SO proud of you and can't wait to see how God continues to grow you in the next year.  This year will be filled with lots of changes and we know you will be amazing!  We love you, Camden Lloyd!
